We offer a self-cleaning seastrainer that is designed for vessels that are water-jet propelled. The novel design utilizes a pressurized flow stream from the water-jet, continuously cleaning the strainer screen while underway.

The Thompson SeaStrainer is available in Type 304 or 316L stainless steel as well as Copper-Nickel (Cu-Ni) and features a large conical screen element.
Commonly used for redundancy, our duplex strainers are designed to fit tight spaces and offer significant weight reduction compared to traditional “cast” duplex strainers.
For enhanced capability, any Thompson Strainer can be outfitted with a Pressure Differential Alarm (PDA2), Automatic Timer Flush Package (ATF2-150) or both (PDA/ATF-MAX).
